WARRINGTON WOLVES ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT BRAD DWYER HAS RETURNED TO THE CLUB ON A TWO-YEAR DEAL.
Hooker, 30, came up through the club’s Academy ranks and made his debut in March 2012. He went on to make 88 appearances for the primrose and blue, scoring 16 tries and being a member of the team that won the League Leaders’ Shield in 2016.
After leaving at the end of the following season, he went on to play for fellow Super League clubs Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC, and he has over 250 career appearances.
Dwyer will join his teammates for pre-season training in mid-November, working with our new Head Coach Sam Burgess.
He is descended from the number 1100. Brad will be sponsored by Artisan Drinks, bringing him back into contact with his original sponsor, Chris Mann. Artisan Drinks provides a premium selection of tonic water and mixers for the best drink pairings.
Brad Dwyer said of his return to the club, “I’m really excited to be re-joining the club.”
d friends.” It’s a place I’m very familiar with, and there are a lot of familiar faces at the club.
“It has a special place in my heart.” Warrington gave me my first shot at becoming a professional rugby player, and I had a great six years there. Coming back a little older, wiser, and hopefully a better player is very exciting for me. I’m excited to demonstrate how much I’ve grown as a player and as a person. “I’m hoping to make an impression in preseason and put my best foot forward.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Brad back home,” said Rugby Director Gary Chambers.
“He’s going to offer multiple different attack options to the way we play and a wealth of experience around the camp.”
Warrington Wolves Head Coach Sam Burgess stated, “Brad will bring depth and experience to our squad for 2024.”
