Don Goodman, a pundit for Sky Sports, says it would be insane for Mark Robins to feel pressured at Coventry City, but he has cautioned him against being complacent.
For the Sky Blues, the season has been extremely difficult thus far since they have not been able to establish the consistency in their play that would have allowed them to move up the Championship table.
One of the most impressive teams from the previous season was Coventry, who had a slow start before catching up and going on a strong run that put them in the play-offs in May.
They defeated Middlesbrough in two legs, but they were defeated by Luton Town on penalties at the last hurdle.
Thus, going into this season, there was likely greater anticipation for Robins and his group, but the notable exits of Gustavo Hamer and Viktor Gyokeres have had a major effect on the squad.
“You can’t be that complacent,” said Don Goodman.
Goodman thinks Robins have a lot of credit despite the team’s slow start to the season and difficulties in maintaining consistency, but he has highlighted Tony Mowbray’s firing by Sunderland as a warning against becoming complacent.

As previously said, the Sky Blues’ season has been extremely frustrating thus far as they have had difficulty getting off to a good start, winning only five of their 19 league games.
Despite surrendering one goal less than they have scored, Robins’ team has only lost seven games and drawn seven, demonstrating their resilience.With 22 points, six above the relegation zone and eight behind the play-offs, they are in 17th place in the Championship table going into their 20th league game.
The next game that Coventry plays is anticipated to be interesting as they host Birmingham City on Friday night.
Since Coventry hasn’t been playing well this season, it makes sense that supporters would be growing impatient.
