The Minnesota Vikings have been dissatisfied with their running game over the last two seasons, and they hope to see a significant improvement in 2024. In order to accomplish this, they signed Aaron Jones to man the position, and the former Packer has the tools and ability to do it – as long as he stays healthy.

Jones missed six games for Green Bay last season due to injury, but when he returned, he was a standout player in the playoffs. He rushed for 226 yards and three touchdowns in two postseason games, helping the Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys before narrowly losing to the San Francisco 49ers.

Packers supporters were outraged that Jones had gone to play for the team’s long-time rivals, and some cheap shots blasted on social media caught the running back’s attention. Jones has his own reaction to Packers fans who were ugly.

The Packers signed former Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, and one Packers fan responded by declaring the team had a running back with “a hairline.”

Jones did praise the Packers for his numbers with the team, but he also acknowledged the vitriol, stating “y’all some haters.”

Aaron Jones was a standout player with the Packers throughout his seven-year tenure. He surpassed 1,000 yards three times and led the league in touchdowns with 16 during the 2019 season.
