Enso Gonzalez is patiently awaiting his first-team debut at Wolves and has revealed he has spoken with Newcastle United’s Miguel Almiron.

In an interview with Versus, the Paraguayan starlet reflected on his first three months at Molineux.

Gonzalez was signed by the Wolves from Libertad the day before the summer deadline.

The club paid around £5 million to bring him in, and sporting director Matt Hobbs stated that he would be working with the first-team and competing for a spot.

However, Gary O’Neil recently stated that Gonzalez requires a lot of work and that he has only played for the U21s thus far.

Gonzalez is having a difficult time at the moment, and the youngster has revealed that he has sought advice from his fellow countryman Almiron…

Enso Gonzalez reveals what Newcastle midfielder Miguel Almiron recently told him.

Gonzalez told Versus that if it were up to him, he would play the next match for the first team.

But he is aware that O’Neil does not believe he is ready.

The teenager will have to be patient, and Gonzalez has revealed what Almiron told him before Wolves’ match against Newcastle United last month. He also met with Brighton’s Julio Enciso.

“I met Julio at his house, and I also spoke with Miguel after the Newcastle game,” he explained. We swapped shirts, and they’re both wonderful people.

“Miguel told me that he had the same experience of not playing. Everything happens one after the other, and you have to be prepared.”

Gonzalez will arrive.
Gonzalez appears to be eager to play, but he also recognizes that he is unlikely to do so anytime soon.

Coming from South America to the Premier League is a big step for him. He’d also need some time to settle in.

It’s comforting to know that his countrymen have been looking out for him since he arrived at Wolves.

Almiron struggled when he first arrived in Newcastle and is well-positioned to advise Gonzalez.

Enciso looked very promising in Brighton. He is currently injured, but he appeared frequently off the bench last season.
