Arsenal are said to be prepared to take “bold steps” in order to win the fight for highly regarded midfielder Andre Trindade.

According to Football Insider, the Gunners are willing to trade two players to make room in their roster and free up transfer cash to acquire Andre.

According to Fichajes, who reported on “Arsenal’s plan,” his “valuation is around €40m (£35m).”

Both Thomas Partey and Jorginho have been touted as potential exits, with both apparently being targets for teams ahead of the winter transfer season.

Last week, it was disclosed that Arsenal sports director Edu Gaspar had visited several Brazilian teams, including Fluminense, amid speculation about Andre.

Liverpool is also interested in signing the Brazilian in January.

Fluminense rejected all proposals to transfer him in the summer, including one from Liverpool, but with the Brazilian season scheduled to end in mid-December, he might be joining Liverpool in January.

Jurgen Klopp brought in four new midfielders over the summer, but he still needs to add a defensive midfielder to his team after selling Fabinho to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.

Jurgen Klopp has utilised Alexis Mac Allister out of position, and his form has deteriorated as a result. His favourite position is more forward, and Liverpool supporters will not see the best of the Argentine in a red shirt until he is playing in a position more natural to him.

If Liverpool intends to sustain their Premier League title push this season, they must buy a new no.6.

Rodri is at Manchester City, and Declan Rice is at Arsenal. Spurs and Liverpool do not have a world-class no.6 to boost their credentials over the course of a long season.

If Klopp is able to add Andre (or a good no.6) to his roster, the Reds may be considered more seriously as one of the most dangerous sides this season.
