Get the most recent Leicester City news from LeicestershireLive as Daniel Farke talks about Crysencio Summerville’s form before the Foxes match.

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, believes that Crysencio Summerville’s remarkable performance is the result of hard work. Leeds United will take on Leicester City on Saturday.

On Friday night, the Foxes, led by Enzo Maresca, will play Leeds in a pivotal Championship match at King Power Stadium. Leeds are currently in third place in the standings. And Summerville, who has contributed eight goals in five games in October, will perhaps pose the most danger to City.

Summerville scored two goals on Saturday at Elland Road to help Leeds defeat Huddersfield 4-1. This brings his goal total for the month to five. In response to a question on how the player has progressed while with the team, Farke stated, “I think especially in terms of end products.” When compared to the beginning of the season, he has really improved.

“I believe he was playing at a high level in a good number of games already, but adding goals and assists to your stats is also important for a young player to grow into a certain path. He starts to feel more at ease using these terms.

“He’s obviously on the right track, but consistency is key. He’s worked hard at Thorp Arch on the training field because we constantly put him in situations where he needs to complete, find the final pass, and handle pressure.

“To deliver over an extended period of time is quality.” Excellent week overall, particularly in terms of final output. Come on, though—keep going in the next games as well.”

Leicester has won 13 of their first 14 Championship games this season, putting them a whopping 14 points ahead of Leeds in the standings.
