They defeated the Panthers 3-2 in overtime before defeating the Maple Leafs in a shootout.
The Red Wings will be looking to break out of their funk in the second game of a two-game home stand. After starting the season 5-1-0, the Red Wings have lost four of their last five games. They have only scored one goal or fewer in three of their losses and are coming off a 2-0 loss to the Panthers.
Last Saturday’s loss to the Bruins was one of their losses during this streak. They gave up two goals in the first period to Boston and couldn’t recover in a 4-1 loss.
