CINCINNATI, OHIO – Two of the best quarterbacks in the league lead their teams into one of the most anticipated Sunday Night Football matchups of the season, as Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals face the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen.

When: Sunday, November 5, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Buffalo Bills are one of the most perplexing teams in the NFL. They have consistently been an AFC East (and borderline Super Bowl) favorite, demonstrating why they are one of the best teams in the conference. However, they have had some poor performances against inferior opponents. Their season-opening loss to the New York Jets and Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots demonstrated that Buffalo still needs to find that killer instinct to compete at the highest level. While they did not convert on all of their opportunities, Allen and company were fairly efficient in a 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football last week.

Buffalo is one game behind the Miami Dolphins entering Sunday.

After a slow start to the season in 2023, the Bengals are on a roll heading into the second half. They’ve won three straight games, including a road victory over the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday. Burrow threw three touchdown passes in a 31-17 victory, while the defense forced three turnovers, including two interceptions against Brock Purdy. Cincinnati’s winning streak has them tied for second place in the AFC North, 1.5 games behind the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bills lead the series 17-16, but the Bengals defeated them in the AFC Divisional Playoffs last January.

MY PREDICTION: Bengals win, 27-24.
