Here is where Michigan football ranks in the most recent AP Top 25 Poll.

Michigan improved to 9-0 with a 41-13 victory over Purdue on Saturday night. Even though it wasn’t pretty, the Wolverines were once again dominant. The Michigan run game struggled to get going, but Blake Corum saved the day with three touchdowns. threw for 33 J.J. McCarthy5 yards but was often off target. While there were a few hiccups, Michigan’s defense was strong and got the job done.

The Wolverines entered the game ranked third in the College Football Playoff rankings. While that is the only ranking that matters, it is still interesting to see what Michigan’s voting media thinks.

The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released on Sunday afternoon, and the Wolverines remain second. Michigan received nine first-place votes, trailing Georgia. Ohio State is ranked third, while Florida State is ranked fourth.

Next Saturday will be a true test for Michigan. The Wolverines are on the road to face Penn State.
