The Dolphins won their eighth game and now lead the AFC East.

Jevon Holland’s 99-yard interception touchdown stole the show as the Miami Dolphins defeated the New York Jets 34-13.

The Dolphins safety snatched the ball on his own one-yard line after Jets quarterback Tim Boyle launched a hail Mary pass on the stroke of halftime.

Holland was barely touched as he went the length of the pitch, evading the Jets defense and giving the Dolphins an 11-point lead after Tyreek Hill’s second-quarter touchdown.

After Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was intercepted by Brandin Echols, the Dolphins pulled away in the second half.

Running back Raheem Mostert scored twice in the fourth quarter, including a 34-yard run, to give the Dolphins an unassailable lead and back-to-back victories.

Tagovailoa threw for 243 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions to lead the Dolphins to their eighth win in 11 games and a two-game lead in the AFC East over the Buffalo Bills.
