With an injury, Tyler Herro of the Heat appears to be getting closer to his expected return.

Wednesday night’s Miami Heat game against the Charlotte Hornets is scheduled to have Tyler Herro missing for the sixteenth time straight. Herro has been recovering from a sprained right ankle, but his recovery date is unclear. In a recent video that he uploaded, he was in shape and practicing basketball on the court.

On November 8, Herro was injured by a sprained right ankle while playing the Memphis Grizzlies. He was declared ineligible to play the remainder of the game after stepping on Jaren Jackson Jr.’s foot during the first quarter. He was identified as having an ankle sprain of Grade 2, which requires four to six weeks to heal.

The Kentucky product can be seen practicing agility and making dribble-based shots in the video below. He appears healthy, and given that the Heat have not been consistent since his injury, many fans are curious as to when he will make a comeback.

Following the accident, Tyler Herro was had to wear a walking boot for ten days. After two weeks, he was checked again, and the recovery schedule remained undetermined. On Wednesday, he will have been absent for five weeks, but it appears like he will soon make a comeback.

The Miami Herald’s Anthony Chiang reports that the Heat are hopeful that Herro will be able to play within the next week or so. According to the video above, he has been intensifying his recuperation and is prepared to assist the Heat in maintaining offensive stability.

Only one player in the Top 75 will ever be acquired for Tyler Herro.

For the whole summer, Tyler Herro was connected to the Damian Lillard deal before the Milwaukee Bucks made their move to acquire him. The Miami Heat and Herro’s relationship suffered a little, but the team reconciled with their star.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that Herro has been informed by the Heat that he will only be traded for a select group of future Hall of Famers and players on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.

Thus, Herro will only be traded by the Heat for the players listed below:

Although Chris Paul, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook have all been connected to the Heat in the past, their ages probably will not allow the organisation to pursue them.
