In the Premier League, Wolves lost to West Ham United handily yesterday; yet, following the match, Gary O’Neil saved his best praise for Pablo Sarabia.

Wolves had a really poor showing in the city, losing 3-0 at the London Stadium.

With two goals from Mohammed Kudas and a third from Jarrod Bowen in the second half, Toti Gomes had a rough afternoon. All three goals were set up by Lucas Paqueta, and Wolves were unable to contain the Brazilian.

There were wolves everywhere. Following the match, O’Neil revealed that three players—Mateus Cunha, Craig Dawson, and Mario Lemina—entered the match having had virus-related difficulties. However, yesterday’s game featured all three of them.

Wolves gave a sluggish performance, although O’Neil acknowledged that Pablo Sarabia put in a lot of effort.

Pablo Sarabia, according to Gary O’Neil, had a “excellent” work rate against West Ham.

Wolves have to raise their game moving ahead because their performance in the last few games has drastically declined.

After returning to the starting lineup, Sarabia has been one of Wolves’ better players lately. His boss praised his performance yesterday.

Good things in the game, according to O’Neil. Pablo had a great effort rate throughout the game, and I know that nobody wants to hear things when you lose 3-0.

Sarabia put in a lot of work; he competed in seven duels and only prevailed in four. However, according to Sofascore, he was the Wolves player who lost the ball the most—25 times.

Sarabia turned in Nelson Semedo’s cross and appeared to have given Wolves a goal back in the second half, but VAR decided he was just slightly offside.

That was unfortunate because Wolves had just executed an excellent play.

O’Neil has been impacted by Sarabia.
Sarabia made his third straight Premier League start, and it appears that O’Neil has taken a liking to him.

Though the standard wasn’t very good, Sarabia was arguably one of the better performances for the visitors yesterday, even though Wolves were terrible at times.

Sarabia is still having physical difficulties. He is prone to putting things off and avoids confrontations.

Even if Pedro Neto isn’t available, he seems to be the player that has the most chance of contributing to Wolves right now, so he should definitely be on the team.
