Dee Eskridge, a Western Michigan native and 2021 second-round selection of the Seattle Seahawks, has caught 17 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown in 20 career games.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Dee Eskridge’s 2023 season has now been postponed despite his encouraging offseason progress.

Eskridge has been suspended for the first six games of 2017 season due to infractions of the personal conduct standard, according to allegations that surfaced on NFL Network on Friday. Charles Omenihu, the defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was also handed a six-game suspension for similar infractions.

Since there is now no further explanation for this ambiguous justification for a suspension, it is anyone’s guess as to what Eskridge may have done to violate the personal conduct rules. In any case, the Seahawks will be missing a player who was most likely projected to finish behind DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the team’s fourth-best receiver this season.

Eskridge, a Western Michigan product selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, has caught 17 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown in his 20 games played. He has gained 69 yards on six more carries.

Shane Waldron, the offensive coordinator for the Seahawks, stated on Tuesday, “I think Dee Eskridge has done a great job at stacking days.” He’s made the correct play on several occasions in a row. Making huge plays down the field; he is constantly present and has taken advantage of the opportunity to demonstrate his skill set. I’m rather happy with his current situation.”
