AFC Wimbledon’s League Two match against Milton Keynes has been postponed due to three international call-ups.
However, Johnnie Jackson’s Dons would have been without starting striker Ali Al-Hamadi, who had been called up to the Iraq senior team for World Cup qualifiers against Indonesia and Vietnam.

The match was originally scheduled for November 18, but has been rescheduled for a later date.
Milton Keynes is currently ranked below Wimbledon in League Two.
Tommy Smith has been called up for Milton Keynes, along with two other players who are yet to be named.

Wimbledon issued a statement on Friday afternoon stating that their match against Milton Keynes on Saturday, November 18th, has been postponed.

“This is owing to the home club getting three international call-ups during the scheduled encounter.
“Our striker Ali Al-Hamadi would also have missed the game next week since he has been named to the Iraq squad again.

“An alternative date for the fixture is close to being finalized, and we will notify you in due time. Tickets purchased in advance for this fixture will be valid for the rescheduled game.”

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has urged everyone in the country who can afford it to buy a newspaper, during a Downing Street press briefing:
If you can afford it, we would be happy if you could make a donation so that we may continue to bring you news in print and online. Alternatively, please make checks payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ

“We will have them back hopefully in a few weeks time, but it’s certainly not going to be in the next few games.

“It’s been a really good partnership and key to what we’re doing.

“Reevesy is out at the weekend as well and it looks like he might miss a few games too.

“It’s left us light when you take out your two starting centre-backs, your captain in the middle and your centre-forward – you have lost the spine of your team there.”

The Dons signed experienced John-Joe O’Toole on deadline day on loan from Mansfield for the rest of the season.

“It was important we brought in some reinforcements,” added Jackson.

“John-Joe was one that came up really late in the day, but we looked at it and he’s experienced, can play in a couple of different positions and he’s coming from a team that is doing really well.

“He knows what success looks like at the level – he’s been there and done it.

“He’s one of those players who could really come in and help us in a few different positions. In difficult circumstances, he’s the type of person you want to be looking around

“When he became available really late, it seemed a pretty sensible piece of business to do.”
