According to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, the rapper requested him to take a call during the most recent podcast broadcast without explaining why. The player accepted his friend’s request, not knowing what to expect.
“I’m sure you are asked this question behind closed doors a lot,” Kelly began to the Kelce brothers’ attentive attention, “but I would be negligent if, owing to the nature of our connection and simply as a Clevelander, I did not interject this question personally.” Without further ado, the rapper made his request: “I will give you $500,000 in cash upon arrival for shopping or whatever you want, as well as matching that amount as a donation to both of our high schools – Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights.”
Kelly would not stop there; she also promised “daily breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on these colors right here.”
Travis and Jason burst out laughing as soon as Kelly completed outlining his proposition, but Travis acknowledged that it was “an intriguing offer.”
The Chiefs star revealed, “That was the original dream, dawg. “You know that was the dream!” However, he did not succumb to temptation and turned down the request. “You know how much we love Cleveland’s East Side, namely the Heights. I’m not going to lie: the situation in Kansas City is very excellent.Kelce’s response relieved Chiefs supporters, and Kelly appeared to handle the rejection well. “My fingers (are) crossed; there is no choice that needs to be taken right now, but just know that my offer is genuine and on the table,” added the “My Ex Best Friend” singer.
Travis went to Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he played basketball, baseball, and football.
Kelce, the youngest, stood out as a quarterback in the later and lettered three years. As a junior, he was also named All-Lake Erie League after rushing for 2,539 yards.
