The early tampering window for NFL free agency opens at 12 p.m. ET on Monday. Once the clock strikes 12, the Philadelphia Eagles and their rivals can start contacting and negotiating with free agents.

Naturally, this has caused general managers and other NFL front office officials to reassess their goals. This includes creating a list of which player representatives to approach first to demonstrate their great interest in negotiating a contract.

While we’re still hours away from the early tampering period, we’re receiving hints about one player the Eagles are expected to target immediately.

According to reports, Bryce Huff is one of the first guys the Philadelphia Eagles will contact.

Howie Roseman, the Philadelphia Eagles’ general manager since 2010, has a great understanding of how NFL free agency works. He is also not hesitant to make a big splash, as evidenced by his previous signings.

This offseason will be filled with acquisitions and subtractions, as it often is in Philadelphia, but with free agency so close, supporters are anxious to refresh their news sources in quest of a new Eagles rumor.

According to The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, the Eagles want to make Bryce Huff one of their first calls when free agency begins.

Huff is an edge rusher who just finished his career with ten sacks despite not starting a single game. That alone sounds like he’s a great fit for the Eagles, who prefer to use a pass-rush rotation to keep their defenders’ legs fresh late in games.

However, as Rosenblatt points out, Huff’s market is expected to be “strong,” with several other teams interested in signing the 25-year-old defender.
