The club is thrilled to confirm the acquisition of talented midfielder Jack Lambert until the end of the season, with the hope of negotiating a longer-term contract ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Lambert has signed after returning to England from Icelandic professional team ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar.

“He’s an exciting, bright young player who fits the player profile that we’re looking for here at Hebburn,” manager Kevin Bolam stated. “I’m happy to have the lad on board, and with the loss of Cedwyn Scott to Carlise, Jack will be a terrific addition to our squad; he’s arrived at a really exciting time, and I’m confident he’ll perform well.”

Lambert began his career in Middlesbrough’s junior system, making his senior debut in the Scottish Premiership with Dundee, and after joining Scunthorpe in 2019, he went on loan to National League North clubs Darlington (two spells) and Blyth Spartans before heading to Iceland to play professionally.

Everyone at the club would like to welcome Jack and hope he has a successful start in the FA Vase in the coming weeks.
