Kevin Zeitler, a 12-year veteran guard, signed a new contract with the Detroit Lions. Zeitler, a former first-round choice, spent the 2023 season with the Baltimore Ravens but has previously played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants.
Despite his excellent career, Kevin Zeitler made his Pro Bowl debut in 2023. This was long overdue, as the offensive guard enjoyed another solid season protecting Lamar Jackson. The offensive lineman started 15 games and finished with a 71.6 PFF grade, ranking 15th out of 79 guards. The Ravens had an equally outstanding season, finishing with the best record in the AFC and advancing to the AFC Championship Game before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kevin Zeitler enters the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2012 draft. The Cincinnati Bengals selected the Wisconsin product, and he instantly earned a starting position on the offensive line. Zeitler started all 16 games as a member of one of the league’s best offensive lines, helping the team reach the playoffs.
Kevin Zeitler was Cincinnati’s primary starting guard during his debut season. However, following the 2016 season, the offensive tackle accepted a new contract with division foe Cleveland Browns. Zeitler maintained his high level of play previously, but these clubs were unable to get to the postseason.
Following that, Kevin Zeitler agreed to a new contract with the New York Giants. Starting and appearing in 31 of a possible 32 games, the right guard helped Daniel Jones stay upright but was unable to achieve his first playoff triumph.
After the 2020 season, Zeiter returned to the AFC North to join the Baltimore Ravens. The lifelong veteran spent three years with Baltimore, appearing in 49 of 51 games and contributing to one of the league’s greatest offensive lines.
