Baltimore, Maryland (AP) – Things got even worse for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday as they played out the last minutes of a particularly disgusting loss.

When starting linebacker Bradley Chubb went down, flat on his back and unable to move due to a knee injury, the first-string defense was already humiliated and defeated by the Baltimore Ravens. The team’s bag leader was eventually hoisted onto a cart and wheeled through the tunnel.

Coach Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins bemoaned his choice to leave Chubb on the field in the final minutes of a game that ended in a 56-19 defeat.

“Looking back, I definitely would not have wanted him out there if I had known he was going to get hurt,” McDaniel remarked. That is a well-known and completely understood aspect of the work. It doesn’t appear to be particularly intelligent.

The sixth-year pro doesn’t seem likely to play again this season, but McDaniel grimaced and hoped for a positive verdict.

Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback, stated, “We came into this game with high hopes of playing to the standard we wanted to play.” “It’s quite disappointing when those expectations aren’t fulfilled.”

Early in the third quarter, the Dolphins went behind by 22 points, and even a harried Tagovailoa was unable to overcome the deficit in a crushing defeat that kept Miami (11-5) from winning the AFC East.
