Cutlass With three hits allowed, two walks, and five strikeouts in five more innings, Tidwell had a strong 2024 debut. He also gave up just one unearned run. Regretfully, Erie only needed that one unearned run to defeat the Rumble Ponies.
Tidwell gave up a single in the bottom of the sixth, and the runner eventually scored on a passed ball by Kevin Parada and a wild pitch by Tidwell. This is obviously uninspiring given Kevin Parada’s struggles in 2023 behind the plate.

There were two errors, a wild pitch, a passed ball, three hit batters, a timer violation, and seven stolen bases in this game—everything you could ask for in a Florida State League contest.
