Chris Cenac Jr. includes Kentucky in updated list; targeting decision in early 2025

Chris Cenac Jr. has narrowed his list to 12 schools still in consideration, and the Kentucky Wildcats made the cut.

On Friday, Cenac revealed his new list (via On3’s Joe Tipton), featuring Kentucky battling UConn, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas, among others. Cenac also revealed he plans to make a commitment by January or February.

The 6-foot-10, 210-pound Cenac originally played for Isidore Newman School in Louisiana but now plays for Link Academy in Missouri after transferring over the summer. The talented power forward is ranked as high as fifth overall in the 2025 class by On3. He’s ranked sixth by ESPN, 14th by 247 Sports, and 16th by Rivals.

Cenac earned a scholarship offer from Mark Pope during the NBPA Top 100 Camp this summer. The New Orleans native does not currently have any official visits scheduled, but he has unofficially visited home-state LSU, as well as Houston.

Look for Kentucky to get a visit once Cenac begins scheduling them.
