With the Miami Dolphins’ three preseason games completed and the regular season rapidly approaching, I posed the following question this past Saday night:
After seeing three preseason games, which draft selections or signings caught you off guard? Which player or players, now that you know why, did you question why the team even drafted or signed? Which players, if any, did you consider to be nothing more than “camp bodies” but who, in your opinion now seem certain to make the squad or, at the very least, have a very good chance of making the roster of the Dolphins or another NFL team in 2024?
Here are a few of your responses and ideas about today’s question:

My selection would be Patrick McMorris. I didn’t see anything on his college tape that gave me hope for the pick (which was my least favorite of the draft). Others, like Jonnu, Wright, McMorris, and Duck, excelled.

The potential for a running game that we now have is fantastic! With our newfound ability to block, the run might easily turn into a pass! We will use Jonnu Smith as a weapon! combines will be completely unaware of what is coming when he combines with Julian Hill! I’m siding with Smith, the Free Agent! SuperG! has a good roster of men that have shown themselves when given the opportunity.
Malik and Wright both shone during the preseason. One notable one was Storm Duck. Although Rucci did well in his third game, he is essentially a practice squad player. Brooks was
